Euchre Tournament
One thing I quickly learned as we started having pot lucks for our afternoon Euchre Tournaments is that some ladies LOVE to cook and try new recipes and some DO NOT want anything to do with cooking!?! LoL These are all great recipes if you are in the latter category!

When my children were young, I did more slow cooker recipes. One of their favorites to eat and mine to cook (since it is SOOO easy) was chili.  We loved it with warm corn bread right out of the oven! All that is needed for this recipe is browning a couple items and opening a few cans ... it has been a bit embarrassing when I made it for others and they raved about it and then asked for the recipe!?! A friend brought the baked beans below to a Euchre card party and they were SO deeeelish, I just had to share the recipe with you. They are great for a large group!

See recipes below

Super EASY Slow Cooker Chili

Euchre Tournament
1 pound ground round or turkey
1 medium onion chopped
Two 15.5 oz can of Chili Beans
(mild or hot depending on your preference)

One 28 oz can of Chili Seasoned Diced Tomatoes
Chili Powder

1. Brown ground round and onions separately and put in slow cooker.

2. Add Chili Beans and Chili Power to taste to slow cooker and stir all ingredients. Cook on low for 3-4 hours. The Chili Beans have some seasoning in them, but I like to add some Chili Powder also.

3. Add Diced Tomatoes and cook for 1 more hour. (The tomatoes stay firmer if added later.)

(Optional) Serve with corn bread

This is my family's favorite EASY cornbread! It says "A rich and moist traditional recipe made with real SWEET corn" on the box, and IT IS!! Just beat one egg, oil & milk and add the pouch of cornbread mix. Then bake for 40 minutes and ... voila ... just like homemade!! I have found this brand at Costco and Trader Joe's.
